'The Art of War' is the translation of 'Sun Tzu', an extremely influential ancient Chinese book on military strategy, by the prodigious sinologist of the British Empire, Lionel Giles (1875 - 1958). This book contains the full text of 1910 translation of The Art of War and newly compiled two provocative essays on The Art of War by KFF (Kamakura Fellowship Foundation in Japan) senior researchers for readers in English speaking areas. The essays are titled as follows: "Comments on The Art of War and its Relations with Laws in Modern Society" (Arthur Dr. S WATANABE) and "The Art of War Evaluation: How to Appreciate 'Sun Tzu'?"
